Important Tesla touchscreen notice
Tesla’s current U.S. Model 3 Owner’s Manual and Model Y Owner’s Manual advise against applying a screen protector. Tesla states that a protector can cause unintended inputs, delayed or unresponsive touch behavior, or electrostatic-discharge damage, and that damage caused by installation is not covered by the vehicle warranty. Review the manual for your exact vehicle and decide whether the trade-offs are acceptable before installation.
